House Bill 1287
Report Denial of Some Pistol Permits

House Bill 1287 has passed in the House of Representatives. Despite efforts by the NRA, NCRPA, and other pro-firearms groups, this piece of legislation has passed a third and final reading on the House floor.

IT IS VITAL THAT YOUR VOICE IS HEARD IN THE SENATE!!!

Please take the time to read both House Bill 1287 and the NRA-ILA analysis.

It is important for ALL NCRPA members to call, e-mail, and write your Legislators to let them know you are opposed to this bill.

Go to House Vote Histories. How did your Representative vote?

CONTACT BOTH YOUR REPRESENTATIVE AND YOUR SENATOR!!

Let them know that you are a constituent. Let them know you are concerned about their vote. If your Representative voted “no”, thank them. It they voted “yes”, politely let them know that you disapprove.

Ask your Senator to vote “no”.

Representatives Sutton (Dem), Jeffus (Dem), Harrison (Dem), and Insko (Dem) sponsored this bill in the House. If you are represented by any of these people, contact them let them know you do not approve of their sponsorship.
